Custom Metal Fabrication Services

No job is too big or too complicated for Advanced Vessel & Alloy. We are a premier steel fabrication company, employing the latest technology for in-shop fabrication. Turn to us for fabrication of carbon or high-strength alloy steels, conventional stainless steels and most non-ferrous metals.

AVA metal fabrication services include:

At over 200,000 square feet of fabrication space and with sixteen overhead cranes, Advanced Vessel & Alloy has the needed space requirements to complete even the largest projects. We continually invest in our people, equipment and customer support to ensure the highest quality in service and production. AVA is proud of our team and will tailor our fabrication services to your project needs.

We firmly believe that to provide a superior end product to our customers, we must invest in our team and in cutting edge technology. By staying true to these principles, Advanced Vessel & Alloy maintains its position at the forefront of the industrial fabrication industry.

Metal finishing & protective coatings

At AVA, we also offer an in-house finishing department. Our fully equipped blast and paint facility provides a variety of prep, blast, paint, protective coatings and lining systems that are integral to many industrial fabrication projects. Our finishing shop is also a designated test site for the International Paint systems. This designation keeps our materials free from defect, our equipment up to date, and most importantly, our personnel properly trained to meet the needs of our customers.

Industry-leading fabrication technology & equipment

At AVA, we invest in the latest fabrication technology to continually increase the quality and efficiency of the tanks, pipes, structural steel and specialty work we produce. Our equipment substantially reduce cost and time throughout the fabrication process – savings we pass along to our customers.

Advanced Vessel & Alloy’s fabrication equipment includes:

  • Peddinghaus BDL-1250/9D Drill – Nine-spindle drill capable of speed drilling on all three axes over 1800 revolutions per minute. Designed to make the job faster and more efficient, with fewer errors.
  • Vernon MPM 5 Axis Cutting Machine – This fully automated and CNC controlled machine allows for greater efficiency and accuracy in pipe fabrication. Can cut pipes ranging from 3 to 48 inches in diameter and virtually eliminates the costly layout time associated with pipe fabrication.
  • Kinetic Cutting Table Models 3000 & 4000 – Multiple gas heads are combined with high-speed tool changers to allow multiple cutting, drilling and finishing operations to be carried out with the same machine. The plasma cutting heads are accurate to within a tenth of a millimeter.

Our welding systems, which are an integral part of the fabrication process, have also been greatly enhanced with the advent of new technologies. AVA has converted all submerged-arc welding systems to digital square wave, which have the capability to provide longitudinal and lateral welds on tanks, vessels, pipe and ductwork. The quality achieved by this new technology is unsurpassed in our industry.

AVA also uses pulse arc welding, which achieves a higher quality weld with less chance for error compared with the equipment used by other fabrication companies. It also cuts the welding time in half, providing another cost saving to our customers.

We also employ several key software programs to provide the most advanced and efficient designs for tanks, vessels, structural steel, concrete, piping and raw engineering. These programs include AutoCad, APV Pressure Vessel, Tekla Structures, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCad Plant, Cadworks 3D, Navisworks Manage, Plate and Sheet Professional, Prodesk 8, Primecut 3, AutoCad Structural Detailing, AutoCad Mechanical, AutoCad Architecture, AutoDesk Robot Structural Analysis, Weldright Pro and SDS.
